Black is beautiful, a truth so divine,
A melanin magic that’s simply sublime.
In every shade, a story’s told,
Of resilience, strength, and a beauty to behold.
From the darkest night to the brightest day,
Black skin shines bright, in every single way.
A canvas of creativity, a soul so bright,
people with a history, that’s a guiding light.
In Afros that fro, in braids that sway,
In every curl, a story’s at play.
Of ancestors who paved the way,
For a future that’s brighter, starting today.
Black is beautiful, a phrase so true,
A celebration of me, and you.
Embracing our heritage, our culture so bold,
Our Blackness is beauty, worth more than all gold.
So let’s rise up, and let our voices be heard,
Let’s celebrate our Blackness, and let our spirits be stirred.
For we are the dreamers, the ones who pave the way,
We are beautiful and strong every single day.
