Natasha Muriel is a Latina, transgender and art-student in Queens NY. She was born in Colombia, but she moved to New York in pursuit of the American dream. She wanted to live in a place where she could express herself with freedom. Art is her therapy, companion and refuge when she feels overwhelmed. Her work is a constant exploration to express ideas, thoughts, emotions, and personal experiences, as well to interpret the world in which she is immersed; especially, living in a time under uncertainty and constant attacks to a trans community in need to be respect and understand.
